Bill has worked at Williams and Lord since 1964, but has been in the funeral business since birth. He has helped generations of families deal with the loss of a loved one in a caring and compassionate manner. He has served as manager since 1990, as well as co-owner of Williams and Lord Funeral Home since the passing of his father, W. D. Lord Sr. He also serves as the Leflore and Carroll County Deputy Coroner.

Will Gnemi

Will was born and raised in Greenwood in the heart of the Mississippi Delta. Will followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, James Hankins, and chose to become a funeral director/embalmer. He graduated from Northwest Mississippi Community College on August 1, 2002. Will is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He has been with Williams & Lord Funeral Home since 2002. Will also serves as the Leflore County Deputy Coroner. Aside from his work duties, Will is very active in his community. He serves as a member of the Greenwood Exchange Club, where he has been awarded Exchangite of the Year two times (2004 and 2007). Will has also served as the chairman of the Board of Trustees at St. John's United Methodist Church, and he serves on the board of the Greenwood Mississippi Cemetery Association.

Bert grew up at Williams and Lord while his father, Al Austin, worked there from 1975 to 1989. Bert graduated from Pillow Academy in 1995 as well as Millsaps College. Bert's family has partnered with the Lord family for many years, and the result is a beautiful funeral home that has buried generations of families in the same location.
