William Lloyd Hayes , 90, of Kosciusko, MS, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Itta Bena Cemetery. Steven Hayes will officiate the services.

Mr. Hayes was born January 2, 1929 in Dekalb, MS, to Ira Lloyd Hayes and Velma Gladys Hammock. He was a U.S. Marine in World War II in Guam and other overseas locations. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Hayes is survived by his sons, Steven Hayes of Brandon, MS, and Scott Hayes of Madisonville, LA; daughter, Beverly Brame of Belden, MS; four sisters, Jean Spears, Dorothy Wilson, Aileen Watkins, and Linda Bills; and brother, Harold Hayes.
