Wayne Lewis Williams , 81, of Greenwood, MS, died Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Golden Age Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Williams Springs Church of God in Montgomery County, MS. Rev. Dennis McKay will officiate.

Wayne was born February 26, 1940 to Thomas Wilburn Williams and Viola May Varnes Williams. He attended Williams Springs Church of God. He enjoyed country music, watching the Dodgers baseball, his Chrysler cars, and going to the casinos. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Thomas Coleman Williams, and D.G. Williams

He is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Thomas of Greenwood, MS, and Wanda Smith of Teoc, MS; five brothers, Hubert Earl Williams of Carrollton, MS, Lamar Williams of New Roads, LA, Richard Williams of Ackerman, MS, Jimmy Williams of Carrollton, MS, and Sammy Williams, of Sardis, MS.
