Walter Lee Harris, Sr. 68, of Greenwood, MS, died Sunday, March 15, 2020 at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation 1 p.m. until service time. Rev. Collin Montgomery will officiate.

Mr. Harris was born October 13, 1951 to Ben Johnson Harris and Garnie Mae Williams Harris. He lived in Greenwood most of his life and was employed by Mississippi/Tennessee Transformer before his retirement. He was a Christian and believed in the Lord. He enjoyed the outdoors and was dedicated to his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Alice Harris; two brothers, Benny Ray Harris and Johnny Lynchard; two sisters, Carolyn Albritton and Betty Huskey; great grandchild, Jaden Owen Andrew Naputi; and his parents.

He is survived by his son, Walter Lee Harris, Jr. and wife Amanda Ann of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Kimberly Ann Lamb and husband Ethan of Greenwood, MS; sisters, Judy Mae Williams of Greenwood, MS, and Glenda Ann Eddings of Little Rock, AR; brother, Ben Perry Harris of Greenwood, MS; eleven grandchildren, Christopher Campbell, Gabrielle Turner, Trevor Malone, Seth Hoffer, Judith Harris, Jenna Harris, Claxton Wade Harris, Amanda Harris, Braxton Harris, Austin Dewett, and Bella Peacock; and two great-grandchildren, Bella Rose Chambers and Gideon Jacob Groves.
