Vivian Doris Bailey, 73, of Greenwood died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her residence. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Oregon Memorial Cemetery near Lexington, MS. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oregon Cemetery near Lexington, MS. Dr. Billy Ray Stonestreet will officiate. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born in Lexington, MS on November 3, 1943 to Grady Sullivan Bailey, Sr. and Eunice Doris Stuart Bailey. She graduated from Lexington High School in 1961 and received her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Delta State University. She worked in quality control before she retired from Baxter Industries in Cleveland, MS. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and enjoyed working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Bailey Popham and her parents.

Ms. Bailey is survived by her brother, Rev. Grady Bailey, Jr., of Brandon, MS; sister, Katherine Bailey Gibbs of Greenwood, MS and several nieces and nephews.
