Virginia Gail Kesterson (Jenny) Miller
February 4, 1948 to December 7, 2015
Mrs. Miller, age 67, went to be with her savior December 7, 2015 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital from heart failure. Services for her will be held Thursday at 2:00pm at Williams and Lord Funeral Home, with a visitation the day of at Williams and Lord Funeral Home from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Burial will follow the services in Odd Fellows East Cemetery in Greenwood. The Reverend Dennis McKay will officiate the services.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband Douglas (Mac) Miller of Greenwood, daughters: Robyn Miller McDaniel (Mike) of Petal, MS, and Jamye Miller Gunderson (Rob) of Metairie, LA, sons: Wesley Miller of Greenwood, Tony Miller of Greenwood, and Shannon Miller of Greenwood Douglas (Doug) Miller (Staci) of Itta Benna, one brother Wayne Kesterson of Money, MS, and two sisters Alpha Lee of Greenwood and Sandy Miller of Sidon, MS, and eight grandchildren.
She was born in Pilot Mountain, TN, to the late Samuel Pete and Hazel Goad Kesterson. She lived most of her adult life in the Greenwood area. She was of the Baptist faith and she loved working with flowers, cooking, and taking care of her family. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by two sisters: Eva Mosley of Shreveport, LA and Carolyn Branch of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS is in charge.
