Obituary

Virginia Myers Dunn , 80, of Greenwood, MS, died Tuesday,

April 23, 2019 at Golden Age Nursing Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, at Williams & Lord Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Saturday, until services at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Rob Garland and Rev. Glenn Waller will officiate. Burial will be in Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County.

She was born December 22, 1938 in Sunflower County, to Edgar Myers Sr. and Eva Sumners Myers. She was a graduate of J.Z. George High School in Carrollton. She was retired from Baldwin Piano after nineteen years and worked seventeen years at Supreme Electronics. She was a Charter member of Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph C. Fowler, Jr., and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Loyd Dunn of Greenwood, MS; daughters, Debbie Walker of Duck Hill, MS, Stephanie Dunn of Greenwood, MS, Pam Dunn of Greenwood, MS, and Mary Jane Rogers of Cleveland, MS; son, Stephen Dunn of Brandon, MS; eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be William Rutherford, Devine Garrison, Mike Cooper, Jimmy McBride, Richard Blackwell, Benny McCaleb, Bobby Floyd and Joseph York.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
