Services for Travis Lee Summers will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 1:00 PM at Roundaway Baptist Church in Indianola, MS.
Mr. Summers, age 66, died on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his residence in Minter City, MS.
Travis was born on November 3, 1952 in Memphis, TN, to the late Jessie Lee and Mildred Lucille Townsend Summers and resided in the Greenwood area the past 37 years. He was a member of the Roundaway Baptist Church and retired from the Leflore County Sheriff's Department after 37 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jessica Lea Summers, and a sister, Shelia Joyce Summers.

She is survived by his daughter, Angela Summers of Greenwood, MS; step son, Chad Smith of Coldwater, MS; sister, Jeanette Jordan of Monroe, LA; and two grandchildren, Mackenzie Summers and Landon Hall.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Roundaway Baptist Church. Rev. Perry Irvin will officiate the services.

Pallbearers will be the Leflore County Sherriff's Department. Honorary Pallbearers will be Morris Townsend, Donald Keith, and Jeff Dunn. Burial will be in Roundaway Baptist Church cemetery.
