Services for Susie Groves Wright will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville, MS.

Mrs. Wright, age71, died on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Walter B. Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville.

She was born on January 4, 1947 in Clarksdale, MS, to the late Otis Allen and Jimmie Mae Neal Groves. She retired from MS Dept. of Corrections as a security guard.

Susie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James E. Wright, and son, Phillip Wright.

She is survived by her two sons, James Allen Wright of Pearl, MS, and Russell(Rita) Wright of Byram, MS; brother, Harvey(Janet) Groves of Clarksdale, MS; and three granddaughters, Gracen, Haleigh, and Allyson Wright.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM at the funeral home. Bro. Deb Fausnight will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Bro. Fausnight, Klint  Fausnight, Roger Pounders, Conner Pounders, Tommy   Ferguson Jr. and James Calvin Thompson. Burial will follow in Drew Cemetery.
