Sue Ann Hallum Myers was received in the arms of our Lord on June 19, 2023. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County, MS, with visitation 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Tanner will officiate.

Sue was born August 19, 1946 in Calhoun County, MS, to the late Hosea C. Hallum and Odie Lee Carter Hallum.  Sue was a member of Centerville Baptist Church.  She worked at Rocky Manufacturing until their closure and drove a bus for Carroll County schools.  She enjoyed tending to her horses and watching them in the show ring.  She also loved sewing, painting and working in the yard. Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Clayton S. Myers Jr., brother, Charlie Hallum, a sister, Judy Hallum, and a grandson, Dawson Mims.

She is survived by four children, Marshall (Gale) Myers, Tracy (Brittany) Myers, and Wayne (Belinda) Myers, all of Greenwood, and Felicia (Robert) Ingram of Carrollton; seven grandchildren, Keri Goodman, Jamie Myers, Brandon Myers, Emilee Myers, Kaylee Myers, Anna Kay Ingram, and Carlin Myers; great granddaughter, Annie K Crawford; special niece, Dana Boyd; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Taydom Boyd, Wesley Gregg, Josh Coleman, Stephen Nichols, Justin Lance, and Donnie Sudduth. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Nichols.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
