Mrs. Shirley Peeples Minga, 74 of Greenwood died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her residence. Graveside services will be 3p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Rev. David Bartlett will officiate. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born to Alvin and Ruby Peeples. She was raised in the Phillipston Community, was an only child and she was a homemaker and spent most of her life in the Greenwood area. She was preceded in death by husband John Edward Minga and her parents.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Judy Minga Brown (Walter) of Greenwood, Barbara Minga Arnold of Greenwood, MS, and Gloria Sue Minga of Greenwood. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Tucker Arnold, Jennifer Germany(John), and Monica Bartlett (Andrew), and three great grandchildren, Skylar Nester, Molly and Landon Germany all of Greenwood.

Pallbearers will be Tucker Arnold, Walter Brown, Andrew Bartlett, Robert Minga, Ray Anthony, and David Evans.
