Memorial services for Shirley Audean Compton will be held in Winona at Southside Baptist Church Saturday August 22, 2015 at 10:30 am. Brother Billy Little will be officiating. Mrs. Compton, age 77 died on Saturday August 15, 2015 at Grace Health and Rehab in Grenada, MS of heart failure. She was born on October 29, 1937 in Montgomery Co., MS to the late Jerry and Annie Taylor Crouch Sr. and lived in Vaiden, MS. She is survived by daughters Valerie Johnson of Winona, Margie Morrow of Greenwood, Marie Clark of Carrollton, and son John Compton of Greenwood and her brother Tommy Crouch of Winona along with 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard Wesley Compton Sr., two sons Ronald Weeks and Howard Wesley Compton Jr., a brother Jerry Melton Crouch Jr., and a daughter Lynn Compton.
