Sarah Elizabeth Welch, 72, of Ruleville, MS, died Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility. Services will be 2 p.m.  Tuesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville, with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Rev. Joe Young will officiate. Burial will follow in Drew Cemetery.

Sarah was born June 14, 1952, in Ruleville, to Ira Ashley and Ruby Doris Douglas Ashley. She was a member of Calvary Chapel at Parchman, MS, and retired from Baxter's in the late Nineties. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jessie McKee and George Welch; her sister, Vickie Hocutt; and her parents.

She is survived by her brother, John Ashley and wife La Ruth of Belzoni, MS; two nieces, Ashley Hocutt and fiancé Stephen Ferri of Merigold, MS, and Amery Haynes and husband Josh of Merigold, MS; and nephew, Rob Ashley and wife Dawn of Ebenezer, MS.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
