On Tuesday, August 11, 2015, Sara Elizabeth Parttridge Rosamond left this earthly world and gained her angel wings. Hymns and praises were sung by her Daughter and Sisters as she left her infirmities behind and God healed her in Heaven. She was greeted at Heaven's Gates by her husband, George and granddaughter, Cassie Marie Wilson.
Also Waiting for her were her parents, Johnny and Mary Nell Parttridge, sisters; Johnny Mae Yarbrough and Mozelle Chason and her brothers; Rev, Billy Parttridge, John L Parttridge and Henry Allen Parttridge.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Newton Wilson (Haywood) of Sumner, Ms. and two sons; Kenny Newton (Angie) of Memphis, Tn. And Mitchell Rosamond of Grenada, Ms. and two grandchildren; Erikon and Ansley Rosamond.
Also surviving her are six sisters. Anna Hagan (James), JoAnn Hagan and Mary Jane Winters all of Drew, Ms. Shirley Wilkerson, and Jimmie Best of Cleveland, Ms. Janis Sigler (Robert) of Gulfport, Ms.
Three brothers: Jack Parttridge (Sandra) of Western Grove, Ar.; Charles Partridge (Sue) of Jackson, La. And Sonny Parttridge (Becky) of Sardis, Ms.
Pall Bearers are Scott Heffner, Kyle Parttridge, Ricky McIntyre, Doug Yarbrough, Ronnie Yarbrough and Mark Yarbrough.
Services will be conducted at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville, Ms. On Friday, August 14, 2015 with Reverend James McNally officiating. Visitation will be at 9 am – 10 am with services following. Burial will be in Sumner, MS at Woodlawn Cemetery.
