Sanford Nathan Nobles, 89, of Sidon, MS, died Thursday, April 11, 2024 at his residence. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery with visitation 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.  Rev. Larry Edwards will officiate.

Nathan was born October 4, 1934 in Manifest, LA, to Frank B. Nobles and Mandy Franks Noble. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wives, Eloise Nobles and Ila Acy Nobles; brother, John Nobles; sister, Anna Sanders; sister-in-law, Teresa Nobles; and his parents.

He is survived by his son, Sanford Nathan Nobles, Jr. of Harrisburg, LA; stepson, Marvin Inman of McCarley; step-daughter, Phillis Inman of Kentucky; and daughter-in-law, Mildred Holeman of Coila, MS.

Pallbearers will be Billy Holeman, Steve Flanagan, Hunter Flanagan, and Keith Conner.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
