Memorial services for Sallie Edna Pettigrew Shows will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 2:00 PM at Williams and Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville, MS.

Mrs. Shows, age 89, of Baytown, TX, died on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Focused Care of Allenbrook.

She was born on March 14, 1930 in Sunflower County, MS, to the late William and Mollie Roberts Pettigrew and lived in Bay Town, TX. Sally is preceded in death by her husband, John William Shows; son, John W. Shows Jr.; daughter, Dorothy Elaine Atkins; sister, Dorothy Barrett; brother, Billy Pettigrew; and a granddaughter, Molly Joann Pitman. Sallie was a retired waitress.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Tilotta of Houston, TX, and Cherry Lynn Shows of Crosby, TX; son, Terry Allen Shows of VT; brothers, Tommy Pettigrew of Channnelview, TX, Jimmy Pettigrew of, Tillatoba, MS ,and  Steve Pettigrew of Tremont, MS; sisters, Joan Burchfield of Cleveland, MS, and Peggy Williams of TN; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren.

Rev. Robert Haney will officiate the services. Burial will be in Lehrton Cemetery.
