Ruby Haddon

Services for Ruby Millisa Haddon will be held Saturday March 5, 2016 at 11:00am at Odd Fellows East Cemetery in Greenwood.
Mrs. Haddon, age 89 died on Wednesday February 24, 2016 in Culpepper, VA of heart failure.
She was born on May 30, 1926 in Calhoun County, MS to the late John and Sallie Turner Taylor and lived in Culpepper Retirement Community in Culpepper, VA. She attended Eupora High School and had resided in Greenwood since 1946. In 2004 she moved to Virginia. She was a homemaker, a retired cotton classer with USDA Cotton Division, and a telephone operator with Southern Bell. Mrs. Haddon was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Haddon.
She is survived by two sons, Mark Haddon of Brandon, MS and Gregg Haddon of Charlotte, NC, one daughter, Susan Murphree of Brandon, MS, sister Jewel Jones of Greenwood, MS and 7 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday March 5, 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am. Reverend Laney Haley will officiate the services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery East.
