Raymond "Ray" Thornburg born on February 18, 1980, age 44, of Greenwood, MS passed away in a vehicle accident on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

He had passion for woodwork and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Parkerson Thornburg, and his father, Ray Thornburg, Jr.

Survivors include his brother, Christopher Jones, his aunt, Christy Parkerson (Rick), and his cousin, Michael Sessum, Jr. (Christy); all of Nashville, TN.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Drew Cemetery. Williams & Lord Funeral Home of Greenwood, is in charge of arrangements.
