Peggy Sue Davis , 67, of McCarley, MS, died Sunday, May 1, 2022 at her residence. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McCarley Cemetery with visitation 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Rupert Ingram will officiate.

Mrs. Davis was born March 11, 1955, to Jame Lofton Busby and Louise Sapp Busby in Tutwiler, MS. She was a graduate of Mississippi School of the Blind. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 24 years before her retirement in Pittsburgh, PA. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Davis; daughter, Kichelle Busby; sister, Evelyn Chad; and her father.

She is survived by her sons, Armond Busby of Pittsburgh, PA, and Moe Busby of Pittsburgh, PA; daughters, Angela Ellis of Pittsburgh, PA, and Robin Davis of McCarley, MS; sisters, Paula Johnston of Benton, MS, and Mary Miller of Moorhead, MS; brothers, James Busby of McCarley, MS, John Busby of Sidon, MS, and Edward Busby and wife Ashley of Kosciusko, MS; mother, Louise Sapp Busby of McCarley, MS; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
