Peggy Elizabeth Acy Gordin, 82, of Blackhawk, MS, died Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Country Meadow Personal Care Home in Greenwood. Services will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Coila, MS. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Dr. Wayne Kimbrough will officiate the services.

Peggy was born on July 28, 1942 in Carroll County, MS, to the late Angus "Son" Malone Acy and Leona Funderburk Acy. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She loved her church, family, gardening, and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Lillie Daves.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold Gordin of Blackhawk, MS; sons, Kevin (Misty) Gordin of Pelahatchie, MS, Kirk (Mindy) Gordin of Puckett, MS, and Keith (Joe) Gordin of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Kobi Gordin, Justin Gordin, Grace Gordin, Claire Gordin, Briana Perry, Tre' Outlaw, and McKenna McGovern; great grandchildren, Eastyn Holly, Lawson Holly, Ann Parker Perry, and Campbell Perry.

Pallbearers will be Kobi Gordin, Justin Gordin, Tre' Outlaw, Eric Mitchell, Mark Peeples, and Junior Funderburk. Honorary pallbearers will be Marion Boggs and Harvey Ellis. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
