Patsy Ann "Miss Pat" Morris, 85, of Drew, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility in Ruleville. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Pat was born on May 13, 1940, to the late Hattie Franks Hudgins and Jesse Tyres Hudgins. On March 1, 1965, she married the love of her life, Don Morris. Together, they made their home in Drew for over 57 years. Pat was a beloved presence in her community, where she owned and operated Pat's Day Care for more than 30 years. Alongside her husband, she also co-owned Morris Service Station and Furniture for 11 years.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Morris; her Aunt Mae, Liddie Mae Garrison; and siblings, Reba Mae Davis, Jerry Hudgins, Larry Hudgins, Paul Hudgins, Nick Hudgins, and Allen Hudgens.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Pam Morris-Atkins (Joe) of Drew, MS; grandson, Jaime Morris-Atkins of Atlantic Beach, FL; sister, Linda Kay Garrison (Tony) of McCloud, OK; and many extended family members and friends who will remember her warmth, generosity and strong will.

Pat will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her legacy of love, service, and dedication to her family and community will live on in the countless lives she touched.
