Services for Ouida Lougee will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018 2:00 PM in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood, MS. Mrs. Lougee, age 93, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
She was born on February 20, 1924 in Drew, MS, to Jett and Mittie McDaniel Randall and lived in Greenwood, MS. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School. She owned and operated The Country Store for several years and Q-Ball's Barbeque for over 43 years. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Joseph Lougee and Hugh Bennett; two brothers, Ed Randall and Rob Randall; and two sisters, Elsie Jones and Velma Barrentine. She had numerous friends through the years and was always trying to help and feed people in need.
She is survived by her son, Randy Lougee of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Faye Lougee Wexler of Greenwood, MS; grandaughter, Tanya (Darrell) Russell of Madison, MS; grandson, Brian (Yvonne) Wexler of El Paso, TX; and great grandchildren, Matthew Wexler, Joseph Wexler, and Sarah Wexler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 21, 2018 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Bernard Wiggins will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Rob Glazier, Buddy Fancher, Ernie Springfield, Ben Feigler, Trace Randall, and Jack Moser. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr Kenneth Hines, Lee James, Bobee Polasini, Will Gnemi, and Bill Lord. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge.
