Services for Nancy McCaleb will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 3:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.
Mrs. McCaleb, age 63, died on Friday, April 21, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on April 21, 1954 in Greenwood, MS, to George William and Edith Elliott McCaleb. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing, where she received her RN and BSN degree. She worked at UMC until her retirement in 2013. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood. She is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by two brothers, Eddie (Pam) McCaleb of Greenwood, MS, and Michael (Donna) McCaleb of Wood Dale, IL; two sisters, Lynn (Rick) Murphree of Tippo, MS, and Georgia (Jerome) Wilkinson of Elizabethton, TN; mother, Edith McCaleb Lindsey of Greenwood; two nieces, and eleven nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Rev Bobby Murphree and Rev Rob Banks will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be her Nephews. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington, MS.
Due to her compassion for animals and children, memorials may be made to MSU Veterinary Hospital, St. Jude Children's Hospital or Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.
