Myrtis M. Overbey , 91, of Greenwood, MS, died Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Indywood Personal Care. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, in Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Keith Ramage will officiate. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Overbey was born August 31, 1927 to Rodney and Grace McDaniel. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. She worked and retired from South Central Bell Telephone after 35 years. She enjoyed her grandson and playing golf. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Overbey, and her parents.

Mrs. Overbey is survived by her son, Lee Overbey of Greenwood, MS, and her grandson, Bradford Lee Overbey and wife, Jessica of Plano, TX.
