Mildred Lee Hall Hays, 82, of Greenwood, MS, died Thursday, October 29, 2026, at her residence. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in Odd Fellows East Cemetery. Rev. Tim Winters officiating.

Mrs. Hays was born July 13, 1944, in Sidon, MS, to Walter Taft Hall and Jessie Geneva Skelton Hall. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Leslie Hays and Haylee Johnson; brothers, Ray Hall, John Carl Hall, Bill Hall, Jerry Hall, and Bruce Hall; and her parents.

She is survived by her sons, John Retherford, Jr. of Madison, MS, and Chuck Hays of Baltimore, MD; sister, Geneva Martin of McCarley, MS; brother, Joe Hall of Anniston, AL; sister, Linda LeBlanc of Houston, TX; sister, Susan Holloway of Phillipston, MS; brother, Mike Hall of Phillipston, MS; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
