Michael Tilden Petty, 60, of Greenwood died Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Riverview Nursing and Rehab. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Odd Fellows East Cemetery in Greenwood. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Jones will officiate.

Mr. Petty was born September 19, 1954 to the late Augustus and Mary Mixon Petty in Phillip, MS. He was disabled and he attended Greenwood High School. He had resided in Leland the past year but lived the rest of his life in Greenwood. He was a member of Phillip Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sisters Beth Avant and her husband Roy of McCarley, Brenda Miller of Greenwood her husband is the late Alton Miller, Annette Fowler and husband Jimmy of Laurel, MS, his brother Steve Petty and wife Charlean of Kodak, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gwyn Miller, Joby Kelly, Dan Cunningham, Will Easterling, Casey Kelly and Austin Kelly.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
