Mary Alice Boyles Woodard, 91, of Greenwood, MS, went to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Crystal Health & Rehab. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County with visitation 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Wilton Neal will officiate.

Mrs. Woodard was born October 11, 1933, in Moorehead, MS, to William Walter Boyles and Lizzie Lamb Boyles. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Carroll County, MS. She lived in the Greenwood area most of her life.  She retired from USDA cotton division after 29 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Woodard; daughter, Lilly Holeman; son-in-law, Tommy Holeman; great-grandson, Austin Holeman; four brothers; one sister; and her parents.

She is survived by many who loved her including three grandchildren, Shelton Boyle (Lisa) of Covington, LA, Jeremy Boyle of Hattiesburg, MS, and Dewayne Holeman (Casey Holeman) of Greenville, MS; many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Bennett, James Lester Jr, Shelton Boyle, Zachary Boyle, Dewayne Holeman, and Keith Conner.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
