Mary Frances Joiner Self, 75, of Holcomb, MS, died Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her residence. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with visitation 10 a.m. until service time in the church. Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate the services. Burial will be in Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County.

Mrs. Self was born August 31, 1945 to Theodore Judson Joiner and Nellie Mae Jeffries. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Wayne Self; sister, Margaret Thomas; three brothers, Charles Joiner, James Irvin Joiner, and Jessie Joiner; and her parents.

She is survived by her sons; Kenny Self and wife Jennifer of Eupora, MS, and Scott Self and wife Shelly of Senatobia, MS; sister, Patricia Etienne of Southaven, MS; brother, Jerry Joiner of Holcomb, MS; and six grandchildren, Ashley Cox and husband John, Amber Jenkins and husband Beau, Mary Courtney Self, Riley Self, Falynne Self, and Leila Self; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lacey Little, Kenny Joiner, Tim Joiner, Tommy Thomas, Mike Thomas, and Jimmy Thomas.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
