Services for Mary Virginia Pierce McIntyre will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 12:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville, MS.

Mrs. McIntyre, age 75, died on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.

She was born on April 06, 1944 in Greenwood, MS, to the late Robert Irving and Virginia Slater Pierce and lived in Winona, MS. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wayne McIntyre, and five siblings. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Merigold, MS. She worked as a private sitter, homemaker, seamstress, and she enjoyed gardening and crafts, and had a realtor's license in her early years.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Merchant of Guin, AL, and Melanie McIntyre of Pensacola, FL; sons, Wayne McIntyre of Caledonia, MS, and James McIntyre of Hueytown, AL; one brother Lloyd Ervin Campbell of Batesville, MS; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville. Rev. James McNally will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be family & friends. Burial will follow in Drew Cemetery.
