Graveside services for Marjorie Tippets Halbert will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Greenwood, MS.

Mrs. Halbert, age 82, died on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Riverside Nursing & Rehab in Greenwood,MS.

She was born on November 24, 1937 in Sacramento, CA, to the late Raymond and Marjorie Vivian Tiegpjen Tippets and lived in Greenwood, MS.

She was preceded in death by her son, Sam D. McGarrity Jr., daughter, Katrina Engle, and two great grandchildren, Matthew Little and Daniel Fisk.

Marjorie resided in Greenwood for over 20 years and was a homemaker. She was of the Mormon religion,and her hobbies were puzzles and card games.

She is survived by her two sons, Bill McGarrity of Sidon, MS, and Delbert McGarrity of Pearl, MS, two daughters, Katherine Holmes of Oxford, MS, and Laura Blaylock of AR, sister, Janice Houser of CA,11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Bro. Michael Mooneyham will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Chris McDonald, Peyton Jenkins, Austin Little, Drew Henderson, Charlie Hill, and Billy McGarrity.
