Mariam Boyd Myers, 71, of Phillipston died Friday, February 17, 2017 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Phillipston Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. George Mims will officiate.

Mrs. Myers was born in Aberdeen, MS, on July 13, 1945 to James M. and Hazel Boyd. She was a member of Phillipston Baptist Church where she served for many years as church secretary. She enjoyed genealogy and keeping up with family history. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Myers, her parents, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her brother, Bob Boyd of Flowood, MS; sisters, Doris B. McGhee of Starkville, MS, Lois B. Coombes of Oregon, and Jerry Russum of Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews and close friends. Memorials may be made to Phillipston Baptist Church Cemetery, 206 CR 364, Sidon, MS, 38964.
