Lois Bennett Smith , 81, of Greenwood, MS, died Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS. Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith was born January 2, 1938 in Greenwood, MS, to Fred Bennett and Ruth Alexander Bennett. She attended Christ Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and Sunflower Junior College in Moorhead. She worked over 30 years for the Leflore County School System.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mack Allen Smith of Greenwood, MS; son, Allen Smith of Brandon, MS; daughter, Cindy Brown of Greenwood, MS; grandchildren, Karen Blackburn and Jerry Dale Blackburn; and great-grandchildren, Lucas Lormand and Ansleigh Lormand.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Dale Blackburn, Lucas Lormand, Mike Smith, Chad Smith, Brad Smith, Louie Galey, Jr.
