Lois Jeanette Green Neal, 66, of Greenwood, MS, died Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her residence. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate the service.

Jeanette was born May 5, 1960, in Greenwood, to James Felton Green and Bessie Murff Watson. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, and she retired from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her brother, Junior Watson (Shannon) of Greenwood, MS; sister, Shelia Green McCool of Greenwood, MS; niece, Kailyn Watson of Greenwood, MS; nephews, Chase McCool of Greenwood, MS and Ryan Watson of Long Beach, MS; and great nephews, Wayland McCool of Greenwood, MS, and James Dean McCool of Greenwood, MS.

Pallbearers will be Chase McCool, Wayland McCool, James Dean McCool, Ryan Watson, Mike Frith, and Michael Wayne Frith.

The family would like to thank Vital Care Hospice for the care they gave Jeanette.
