Obituary

Lloyd "Buddy" Wiggins , 69, of Carrollton, MS, died Friday, August 4, 2017 at his residence. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m.  Monday, August 7, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.  Monday, August 7, 2017 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home.  Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate at the services. Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wiggins was born May 7, 1948 in Carroll County to George Burton Wiggins and Lavalla Mae Oats. He was retired from Mid South Community College in West Memphis, AR, where he worked in maintenance. He was an avid hunter, and he never met a stranger. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and seven brothers.

Mr. Wiggins is survived by his wife, Brenda Strain Wiggins of Carrollton, MS; daughters, Gail Pigott and husband Carey of Canton, MS, and Donna Marshall and husband Jeff of Canton, MS; step-sons, Scott Kolle and wife Shelia of Starkville, MS, and Shane Kolle and wife Bianca of Vancouver, WA; five grandchildren, Breana Pigott, Hunter Pigott, Keely Marshall, Dylan Marshall all of Canton, MS, and Darby Kolle of Starkville, MS; sister, Frances Holliman of Texas; and three brothers, James Wiggins of Carrollton, MS, Herbert Wiggins of Texas, and Carl Wiggins of Carrollton, MS.

Pallbearers will be Paul Wells, Shannon Wiggins, Devin Wiggins, Keith Wiggins, Carl Wiggins, Mark Wiggins, and Willie James Lee. Honorary pallbearer will be Ronnie Nichols.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
