Linda Ann Ellis Shaw succumbed April 22, 2016 following a long illness. She was the daughter of the late J.H. and Annie B Watkins Ellis and the widow of Charles Shaw. She graduated from Greenville High School and owned and operated a furniture and antique shop in Borger, Texas. Linda was an avid reader, rescued and loved animals, and was an outstanding cook when in good health, entertaining her family and friends with wonderful meals. She had a very loving and kind nature, and was someone who would give you the shirt off her back. In addition to cooking, she enjoyed keeping a spotless house. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, James Ellis and Jimmy Wayne Ellis.
She is survived by her brother Robert Ellis and his wife Debra, her son James Rowe and his wife Cecilia of Stinnett, Texas, daughters Ranee Rowe Johnson of Lumberton and Rhonda Fleming and her husband Bert of Greenwood, grandchildren Tyler Johnson, Haley Johnson, Allison Fleming, Lindsay Fleming, Colton Brown, Casandra Ford, and J.C. Rowe, and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 10:00 am April 25, 2016 at Williams and Lord Funeral Home with the Rev Butch Kelly Officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00pm till 4:00PM on Sunday April 24, 2016 at Williams and Lord Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery.
