Lawerence Kime Roy, Sr. , 76, of North Carrollton, MS, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Crystal Health & Rehab. There will be a private service at a later date.

Mr. Roy was born August 7, 1944 to Ernal Harris Roy and Mary Ella Taylor Roy in Mobile, Alabama. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a master carpenter, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and smoking his pipe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Thomas Roy, two step children, Darlene Rollins and Linda Eldridge, and his parents.

He is survived by his son, Laurence Roy, Jr. and wife Jill of North Carrollton, MS; daughters, Nora Sprague of Dripping Springs, TX, and Nadine Roy of Dripping Springs, TX; step son, Billy Mcguff and wife Judy of Holcomb, MS; step-daughter, Elizabeth Cooper of Alford, FL; twenty-three grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
