Graveside services for Katie May Thomas Phillips will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS.  Mrs. Phillips, age 76, died on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on January 23, 1947 in Minter City, MS, to Roy and Florence Carney Thomas and lived in Cleveland, MS. She worked for Ruleville Manufacturing until her retirement.  She is preceded in death by her second husband, Bobby G. Phillips, as well as her twin boys, one brother, James Roy Thomas, and two sisters, Marie Everette and Dorothy Hall.

She is survived by her first husband, Donald Myers of Leland, MS;  son, Donald R. (Selena) Myers of West Moreland, TN;  daughters, Donna K. (James) Oaks of Grand Bay, AL., Marsha M. (George) DeSheles of Portland, TN, and Shirley J. Phillips and Larry Manrriquez of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Brittany N. Myers of Shaw, MS,  Donald R. (Alexis) Myers of Cave City, KY, Kyler Q. Myers of West Moreland, TN, Phillip M. Oaks of Hendersonville, TN,  James A. (Danielle) Oaks of Everett, WA,  George I (Casey-Lee) DeSheles III of Hartsville, TN, Lucas S. (Sara) DeSheles of Portland, TN,  Brandon W. (Montserrat) Little of Lake Wood, WA, and  Cameron A. (Arlie) Little of Gunnison, MS;  and great grandchildren, Aiden Isaiah Webb, Austin Blake  Myers, John Thomas Vickers, Remington Lane  Myers, Westin James  Myers,  Issac James,  Paul  DeSheles,  and  Liam Cohen DeSheles .

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville. Rev Larry Chouccoli will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be George DeSheles, Lucas DeSheles, Craig Burchfield, Bryn Bright, Freddy Ware, Christopher Bright, Rick Myers, and Brandon Little. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cameron Little and TJ Winters.
