Mrs. Kathleen Hoover Sullivan

Services for Mrs. Kathleen Hoover Sullivan will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 11:00 AM graveside in Centerville Cemetery in Carroll County, MS, with the Rev. George Don Gober, Jr, and Kimberly Farmer Polk will officiate the services.

Mrs. Sullivan, age 93, died on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Golden Age Nursing Home Greenwood, MS.

She was born on April 7, 1929 in Montgomery County, MS, to the late Odie McClurg and Erma Liston Boyd McClurg. She was a homemaker most of her life and loved her flowers. She was a faithful member of Providence Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Selton Sullivan, and Herman Hoover the father of her six children; and two daughters, Shirley Hoover Farmer and Wanda Gaye Hoover.

She is survived by her sons, Van Hoover (Belinda), of Carrollton, MS, and Donald Drayden Hoover (Carolyn), of Teoc, MS; daughters, Rita Hoover Gober (Don), of Grenada, and Kaye Hoover Riley, of Hernando; half-sisters, Bonnie Scallion Bunkin of Vicksburg, MS, Glee Sellers of Greenwood, MS, and Mary Curtis of Kilmichael, MS; half-brothers, Morgan McClurg, Wendall McClurg, and Sonny McClurg; twelve grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, and a great great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be George Don Gober, Jr., Larry Gene Farmer, Trinity Scott Hoover, Triston Hoover, Drayden Allen Hoover, and Evan Riley Hoover. Dr. Michael Boler will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Williams and Lord Funeral Home is in charge.
