Judy Evelyn Hodges Proctor of Coffeeville, MS, died Monday, December 3, 2018 at Baptist Desoto Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 73.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, William Ervin Hodges and Ivory Gordon Hodges.

Judy was born in Phillip, MS, and later lived in Sunnyside and Minter City.

She and her family later moved to Tennessee where she and her husband ran their local business in Shelbyville for 30 yrs, before retirement and moving back to Mississippi and settling in Coffeeville.

In Judy's last years she was a homemaker and caretaker of her son, Kenny.

She also made homemade fried fruit pies for a local business in Grenada, MS.

She is survived by her husband of 42 yrs, Doug Proctor, son Kenny Hopson,

three brothers, Robert Hodges of Minter City, Loyd Hodges (Louise) of Minter City, and Ray Hodges (Raye) of Greenwood, two nieces, Nanette Hodges Trotter of Minter City, and Tina Hodges Alford (Chris) of Greenwood, four nephews, Lloyd Hodges (Angie) of Minter City, Justin Hodges (Sally) of Madison, Channing Hodges (Michelle) of Greenwood, and Landon Hodges of Greenwood, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on

Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm

First Baptist Church of Coffeeville.

Williams and Lord Funeral Home will be handling arrangements.
