Judy Carol Morgan Nicholson

Services for Judy Carol Morgan Nicholson will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 2:00 PM graveside in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS.

Mrs. Nicholson, 70, died Saturday, September 30, 2023 at St. Dominic hospital in Jackson, MS.

Judy was born on May 3, 1953 in Greenwood to the late Lonnie Morgan and Dorothy Morgan. She worked as a cotton classer and was the manager of Kiddie Care daycare in Greenwood. She enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Nicholson, Jr. of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Melinda (Eddie) Nance of Winona, MS; sons, Justin (Beth) Nicholson of Greenwood, MS, and Philip (Rhonda) Nicholson of Chandler, OK; grandchildren, Keesler Cox, Drew Nicholson, Morgan Nance, Mary Leesam Nicholson, Caroline Nicholson, and Ann Sutton Nicholson; and a great grandson, Gavin Cox.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 11:30 AM till 1:30 PM at Williams and Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Mitchell Long will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Eddie Ingram, Mike Morgan, Jim Carpenter, Chuck Morgan, Sammy Overley, and Harold Nicholson, Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Leflore County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Williams and Lord Funeral Home is in charge.
