Memorial services for Joyee Beth Boykin Dorrough will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 2:00 PM in Marlow Cemetery in Ruleville, MS.

Beth was a vibrant intelligent person who loved to feed the birds around her home. She studied Political Science at the University of Mississippi before transferring to Delta State University to get a degree in home economics. She worked for a time as a coach for young mothers, teaching them about infant care and nutrition.

Mrs. Dorrough, age 56, died on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at her residence in Ruleville.

She was born on April 20, 1964 in Greenville, MS, to Stan Douglas Boykin and Rose Janelle Young Boykin. Beth is preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Dorrough, father, Stan Douglas Boykin, and paternal grandmother, Joyee Boykin.

She is survived by her brother in law, Marlow (Allenda) Dorrough of Crestone, CO; nephew, John Charles Marlow Dorrough of Ruleville, MS; and two nieces; Audra Lee Dorrough of Cleveland, MS, and Melanie Dorrough of Lone Tree, CO. She is also survived by many friends.

Rev. Bobby Turner will officiate the services. Pallbearer will be Joe Bradshaw.
