Johnny Franklin Brown, 90, of Greenwood, MS, died Friday, July 26, 2024 at his residence. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ebenezer Cemetery near Stewart, MS. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Lanny Haley will officiate.

Johnny was born November 19, 1933, in Stewart, MS. He was of the Baptist faith, and he served in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and selling cars. He was preceded in death by his son, Joe Wayne Brown, and his daughter, Debra Sue Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Annette Milam Brown of Greenwood, MS; daughter, Teresa Lynn Roark and husband John of Greenville, MS; son, Jeff Brown and wife Bridgette of Carrollton, MS; five grandchildren, Niki Trull, John Walker, Jason Lee, Jon Aidan Brown, and Anna Ashton Brown; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Brown, Jon Aidan Brown, John Walker, Jason Lee, Ethan Haddon, and Terry Roberts.

Military rites will be conducted by Keesler-Hamrick-Gillespie American Legion Post 29.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
