Services for John William Hall will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Inverness, MS.

Mr. Hall, age 74, died on Friday, April 06, 2018 at his residence in Inverness, MS.

He was born on June 17, 1943 in Big Creek, MS, to Lester Ben and Lyda Moorman Hall and lived in Inverness, MS. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Ben Hall; three brothers, Lester Hall, Bennie Hall and James Hall; son, William Scott Hall, and a grandson, William Alexzander Hall.

John proudly served in the Army and was a policeman for Sunflower County for thirty years.

He is survived by his wife, of 24 years Dru Hall of Inverness, MS, daughter, Becky(Ray) Kendall of Cascilla, MS, son, Robert(Soyna) Hall of Hernando, MS, step daughter, Heather(Garnet) Parker of Grenada, MS, step son, Casey Horton of Cleveland, MS, mother, Lyda Hall of Ruleville, MS, sisters, Sara(Roland) Pimm of Hattiesburg, MS, Nancy(Billy) Lindsey of Horn Lake, MS, Dorothy Horton of Ruleville MS, and  Bonnie(William) Pyron of Gore Springs, MS;  six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 12:00 PM to 02:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Inverness. Rev. Brian Burge will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Bo Horton, Lee Horton, Zachary Horton, Steve Saxon, Jason Hall, and Sam Pitts. Burial will follow in Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville,MS, with the Patriot Guard Riders of MS performing military rites.
