Services for Joe Earl McCool will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Ruleville, MS .

Mr. McCool, age 62, died on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

He was born on October 22, 1954 in Clarksdale, MS, to the late Alvin Gerald and Helen King McCool and lived in Ruleville, Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Jerry and Edward Gerald McCool.

Joe loved his wife of 42 years Hazel McCool, grandchildren, daughter, Leslie "Little Bit," and family. He enjoyed outside activities, his maintenance job at Gold Strike Casino, co-workers and was a huge Ole Miss football fan, and loved the little town of Ruleville.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Myers McCool of Ruleville, MS; daughter, Leslie McCool (Phillip) Harden of Monticello, AR; granddaughters,  Anne Alysse Harden, Natalie "Nat Nat" Harden , grandson; Riley "Little Man" Harden and 21 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Tim Howell and Bro. Paul Myers will officiate the services.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Cook, Al McCool, Mike Myers, Ronnie Myers, Sammy Wells, Pat Myers, Jamie Myers, and Kenny Myers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Wells, Hayden McCool, Joshua Myers, Joseph Myers,and Shannon Myers. Interment will follow in Lehrton Cemetery.
