Jo Ann Stephenson, 86, of Greenwood, MS, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Riverview Nursing & Rehab. Graveside services were 10 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS. Rev. Bennie Watson will officiate.

Mrs. Stephenson was born July 11, 1937 in Greenwood, MS, to George James Paris and Annie Isabella Ray Paris. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Stephenson; son, John David Stephenson; brothers, George Paris, Jr. and James Ray Paris; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Donnie Stephenson and wife Donna of Carrollton, MS; daughters, Mary Stephenson of Brandon, MS, and Margret Stephenson of Carrollton, MS; brother, Warner Paris, Sr. of Warner Robins, GA; sister Alice Joy Edwards of Ocala, FL.; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
