Services for Jimmy Ross Hunt will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 2:00 PM at Ruleville Baptist Church in Ruleville, MS.

Mr. Hunt, age 49, died on Monday, September 30, 2019 at North Sunflower Medical Center.

He was born on September 23, 1970 in Ruleville, MS, to Ross and Nancy Jane Gibson Hunt and lived in Parchman, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Jane Hunt. Jim enjoyed racing, hunting and fishing. He was a retired investigator for C. I. D.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tracie Ann Phillips Hunt of Parchman, MS; son, Cody Hunt of Parchman, MS; daughter, Tiffany(Daniel) Benton of Florence, MS; father, Ross Hunt and step-mother Elizabeth Hunt of Ruleville, MS; sister, Lisa(Keith) McNeese of Brandon, MS; step sister, Pam(Maury) Eubanks of Ruleville, MS; step brother, Jay(Ashley) Murphree of Jonesboro, AR; a granddaughter on the way, Neely Ann Benton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church. Rev. Robert Haney will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Kenny Scott, Kelly Davidson, Anderson Johnson, Michael Nelson, Johnny Rogers, and Derick Sanders. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Scott, Robert Dale Hunt, and Rudy Davidson. Burial will follow in Lehrton Cemetery.
