Jesse Louie Brower, 95, of Phillip, MS, died Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Greenwood, MS. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Butch Kelly will officiate.

Jesse was born on October 8, 1929, in Drew, MS, to Pelmar Nimrod Brower and Connie Estelle Adams Brower. He was a member of Phillip Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He worked as a grocery store manager in many stores in this state. He then began farming which he loved dearly until he retired. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen K. Brower, son, Jesse Glenn Brower, his brothers, sisters, and parents.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Warren Brower of Phillip, MS; daughter, Karen M. Surrette and husband Joe of Greenwood, MS; sons, Vernon Dale Brower and wife Kim of Tillatoba, MS and Howard Gale Brower of Coffeeville, MS; grandchildren, Howard Brower, Katie Collett and husband Doyle, Eddie Holland and wife Rachel, Bryan Brower and wife Rebecca, Jessica Noah and husband Andy, Shanna Brower, Sara Ellis and husband Will, and Nathan Brower, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Buford Vaughn, Eddie Holland, Bryan Brower, Nathan Brower, Hunter Brower, and Larry Earp.
