Services for Jerry Wayne Joiner will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 1:00 PM graveside in Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County, MS.

Mr. Joiner, age 68, died on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Grenada Living Center in Grenada.

He was born on April 10, 1953 in Carroll County, MS, to the late Theodore and Nellie Jeffries Joiner. He was a past resident of Greenwood and lived in Grenada for 25 years.  He was a retired farmer and attended Mt Pisgah Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Frances Self and Margaret Joiner Thomas; and three brothers, Charles Joiner, James Irvin Joiner, and Jessie Joiner.

He is survived by his son, Stacey Joiner of Grenada, MS; sister, Patricia Etienne of Southaven, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Bro. Wilton Neal will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Lacey Little, Scott Self, Kenny Self, Mike Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, and Riley Self.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Joseph Roberts, Tommy Thomas, Bill Lindley, Wilson Efienne, and the staff of Sta-Home Hospice, and the Grenada Living Center staff.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home is in charge.
