James Elton Lott , 84, of Seminary, MS, died Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Wesley Merit Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Odd Fellows Cemetery with visitation 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS. Rev. Jim Stockdale will officiate the services.

Mr. Lott was born July 20, 1937 to Oliver Lott and Martha Bright Lott in Itta Bena, MS. He lived in the Hattiesburg area for 25 years. He retired from Wanda Petroleum Company after 10 years of service. He was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church in Seminary, MS. He was a United States Army Veteran and was stationed in Germany. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Jewel Lott, and his parents.

He is survived by his son, James Randall Lott of Goose Creek, SC; daughters, Cynthia Jewel Aicher of West Monroe, LA, and Pamela Kaye Stockdale of Dover, TN; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Eric Aicher, Nathaniel Lott, Colton Lott, Dominic Thibodeaux, John Alford, and Jim Stockdale. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Albritton, David Lott, Charles Howard, and Kyle Lawley.

Military rites will be conducted by Keesler-Hamrick-Gillespie American Legion Post 29.
