Services for James Arthur Jackson, Sr. will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018 1:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood, MS.

Mr. Jackson ,age 87, died on Monday, November 12, 2018 at his residence in Greenwood of heart failure.

He was born on August 4, 1931 in Merigold, MS, to the late Andrew and Eula Underwood Jackson, lived in Greenwood all his life, and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was a retired rancher and employee of Leflore Steel in Greenwood for 15 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Lenna Ingram Jackson of Greenwood, MS; son, Arthur Jackson, Jr. of Greenwood, MS; daughters, Pam Zwerschke of Batesville, MS,and Debbie Milligan of Trenten, TN; brother, Bryan Jackson of Avalon, MS; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry McNeer will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Clayton Zwerschke, Scott Jackson, Bart Jackson, Michael Milligan, Allen Jackson, and Donnie Cleveland. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Walls, Dr. Michael Boler, and Bill Billingleys. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Carroll County.
